They were formed in 1991 by Zack de la Rocha (vocals), Tom Morello (guitar), Tim Commerford (bass) and Brad Wilk (drums).
They were active betwen 1990 to 2000, in 2007 announced a reunion and performed together for the first time in seven years at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2007.
Their last show in Chile was in 2010 at Estadio Bicentenario.
